Privacy & cookies

TTFC Essex Ltd. (“we”) of Unit 4 Little Mollands Farm, Mollands Lane, South Ockendon, Essex, RM15 6RX is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

What we collect and why

• Orders: your name, company, email, phone number, delivery address and any delivery notes, together with what you ordered. We need these to take payment, deliver your goods and contact you about your order, and we keep order records for six years because the law requires us to keep accounting records.
• Unfinished checkouts: if you enter your details but don’t complete payment, the unpaid order is deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Enquiries: when you use the contact form we receive your message and contact details by email, and use them only to answer you.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

• Payments: Square (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and PayPal process payments for us. You enter card details directly into their secure forms, so we never see or store your card number. They receive the order amount, your email and delivery address for fraud prevention. See the Square and PayPal privacy notices.
• Delivery: our carriers receive your name, address and phone number.
• Email and hosting: our email provider (IONOS) and web host process messages and order data on our behalf.

Visitor statistics

We count visits on our own server, so we can see which pages and products are popular, how people find us and where our website could be easier to use. No cookies are used and nothing is shared with Google or anyone else. We don’t store your IP address: each visitor is given a code made from it that changes every day, so we can see how a visit moves through the site on one day but can’t recognise you on another day. We also record your town or region (looked up from your IP address and then discarded), your type of device and browser, and the website you came from. These records are deleted after 25 months.

Cookies

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

• ttfc_basket is set only when you add something to your basket or use the contact form. It remembers your basket and protects the checkout and contact forms from misuse. It is strictly necessary for the shop to work, contains no personal information and expires after 14 days.
• On the payment page only, Square, PayPal and Google may set their own cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
• The Find Us map loads map images from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address, as any website you visit does.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or, where we don’t need to keep it by law, delete it. Just contact us or call 01708 856000. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
